Why could they not be either a descendants of Zentraedi or a Tirolian survivors from the Second Robotech War who integrated into human society? During TMS, Zentraedi were beginning to integrate. Now unless, Breetai and the Gloval ordered the execution of all these Zentraedi, they would count towards the number.Īnd who is to judge that every person shown in TNG were direct descendants of earthlings. The Robotech Factory Satellite was 20 miles long and had a crew of 13,000,000. Each destroyer is manned by 3,000 Zentraedi. In Viva Miriya, Breetai accepted the survivors and one scene when his flagship lands, you see 3 Zentraedi destroyers. Now looking at the complement of a Zentraedi ship, Breetai’s flagship has 15,100 men. Why could this not happen in Robotech as well? In the Japanese Macross show, these surviving Zentraedi forces are integrated into UN Spacy and play a key role in man’s colonization of space. The only question is how many of the Zentraedi forces on Earth’s side survived. With the power of Minmei’s song, the forces on the side of Earth had a huge advantage. The dialogue “But sir, there are still severalĪt 3:19 of A New Dawn, Breetai was given command of 1,000,000 ships.ĭuring the battle in Force of Arms, the opposing forces were 4.8 million ships on Dolza’s side versus 1 million from Breetai’s fleet, Azonia’s fleet, the RDF on Earth, and the SDF-1. The United States itself is a hodgepodge of cultures. It is no different than when the Europeans claimed territory elsewhere and integrated various cultures into their culture. Also the Tirolians could have been integrated as well. After all per Exedore, we are genetically the same. Or they Zentraedi integrated into humanity. Given that it is plural (millions) in the dialogue the rate would need to be higher still. You would need 8.5% (4x record) rate just to make 1 million by 2044.

If 70k is accurate, 2.2% growth is duplicated it would only double the approximate population by 2044. If RT2 would have seen the airwaves as Carl envisioned it, this would be a tough sell. After all, he scripted in RT2: The Sentinels, that the SDF-3 went to Tirol by itself and somehow manages to come back with fleets of ships manned by humans.
#Zentraedi exedore series
Canon is the television series and until they change that, that is what is canon.Ĭarl Macek never thought those issues through regarding logistics and making his show realistic. I am of the same opinion but the dialogue of the show says otherwise. Wolff: Emergency repair procedure number one.Ĭhalmers: You kicked it?“The gutter in here is wide and deep… and all seem to be in it…”-HT The Grand Cannon’s damage report map shows most of the region not getting hit at all, and all the zentraedi ships above North America were destroyed in the cannon’s firing arc thus making it very likely places like Boston, NYC etc survived. On the other hand there is evidence that most of the north eastern US survived the rain of death. A complete waste of resources, manpower and time. Why would you waste the effort rebuilding an entire urban city enviroment complete with recognizable landmarks if your total population is 50-70,000? Especially when at the same time you are trying to build a massive Expeditionary force/southern cross army. Sure I’ve seen people argue that the city was destroyed and rebuilt, but that makes no sense. New York City survives as seen in the New Generation episode Big Apple. I’m of the opinion that there had to be millions survive the rain of death.
